A Big Day

I have been anxiously awaiting this day with eager hands and a hopeful heart since I was five years old. The day that I would have a little head of hair to play with to my hearts delight.....uh, I mean a little girl with hair that I can...uh, you know...fix and stuff. PIG TAILS!! She has grown herself enough hair to make two very scant pigtails! It was more exciting than Christmas morning, I assure you! Of course I took them out after about four minutes--because notwithstanding my utter delight, I was not insensitive to the headache it could possibly cause. But it's enough for me to know inside my heart that it is possible.

And can you believe this girl? She is the beamiest, happiest little creature who ever crawled...er, army crawled the earth.

Adorable, I keep saying it over and over, but I can't wait to have a girl. Not that I don't love having a boy but well you understand I'm sure... Anyway We are actually just outside of Rexburg, between Rigby and Rexburg in Thornton. We'd love to see you if you had time to stop! Just let us know when and we'll totally get together if you want! It would be nice to see you and meet the rest of your little Fam! Just leave me a comment on the blog or send me an email.

how funny is that? you are lucky you can give her pigtails! They are tiny and her beaming smile made me giggle. My sisters 1 yr old has hardly any hair, and I think our little girl may end up like that as well. So, here's to enough hair to do pigtails! and to SUPER CUTE babies!

Hooray for pigtails! You need to buy yourself and Josie some awesome matching '80s-style rubberbands. Then you can sport the pigtail do together.

yay! I found Mim! You are so cute! and, as I was reading your blog I was reminded of why we are friends. English majors, a love of the The Office, and making things. Where have you been all my life? P.S. you are the craftiest litle devil on the planet! I love you!

the girl smiles as if her very life depends on it! before i read the post i was studying her hair trying to figure out if, yes, those were pigtails. and yes. they are pigtails. remarkable.

That is one dang cute little girl. And I've decided that little pokey pig tales are WAY cuter than legitimate ones. I just wanted to grab Josie through my screen and eat her!

It looks like she's saying "YES!" to pigtails and pumping her fist. What elastics did you use? Haven I fear will eat hers if they're at all too big.

How cute are those pigtails! I'm jealous, I don't think I will be getting to do that for a long time! We need to hang out already!
